Applications

  • Utilization of dew point and temperature to control economizer not to exceed indoor design conditions.
  • One high quality, weather station quality sensor can be used to control all air intakes on a building or within a number of blocks.
  • In many cases temperature or enthalpy control will introduce moisture levels well over the indoor design dew point that actually will require additional dehumidification by the air conditioning system when activated.

  • AirTest can provide transmitters that calculate dew point (EE23, EE07) or transmitters that provide accurate humidity and temperature readings that can be used with the correct psychometric calculations to determine dew point.

EE210 Transmitter For Outdoor & Harsh Environments With Choice of 7 Moisture Output Measurements

The EE210 will be replacing the EE21 and is designed to operate in outdoor or harsh environments and includes a specially coated sensing element that protects the sensor from normally destructive chemicals such as salt air, ammonia and chlorine. Other features of this product include:

  • Available with or without display.
  • Duct or Wall Mounting.
  • Outputs available: 0-5V, 0-10V, 4-20 mA, Modbus (soon).
  • Dual analog outputs that can include outputs for: Temperature, Relative Humidity, Dew Point, Frost Point, Mixing Ratio, Absolute Humidity, Specific Enthalpy (all values available via Modbus).
  • Supports one or two point calibration.
  • Operating Range: 0-100% RH, -40 to 140F (-40 to 60C).
  • Accuracy:
    • -15...40°C (5...104°F) ≤90% RH (1.3 + 0.3%*mv) % RH
    • -15...40°C (5...104F) >90% RH 2.3% RH
    • -40...60°C (0...140F) (1.5 + 1.5%*mv) % RH

RM1000 Outdoor Radiation Shield With OA Probes

AirTest, Weather Station Quality, RM1000 Radiation Shield With EE Voltage Output or Modbus Output Probes

This product is intended to provide a durable but cost effective method of measuring outside temperature and moisture conditions. It combines the AirTest RM1000 radiation shield that is designed to accommodate a variety of 12 mm diameter probes with two probe options that offer analog outputs for temperature and humidity (EE060) or Modbus EE071) outputs for temperature and 5 different moisture measurement parameters (including dew point). The probes are easily inserted into the compression fitting in the shield and the screw on cable connector to the probes allows for easy installation and replacement. A humidity and temperature probe with special environmental coating that protects the sensor element from pollutants and salt air. Available with screw-on or connected cable. Can be used with the AirTest RM1000 radiation probe.

  • A weather station quality transmitter designed for measurement of outside air, that utilizes a remote probe and recommended optional weather shield (PN: HA010502).
  • Provides a direct dew point output, can also calculate various other psychometric values.
